Rate-Tiered Endpoint

The endpoint at api.stable402.com/tiered demonstrates the x402 economic model that makes machine-to-machine commerce viable: a free tier and a paid tier on the same route, differentiated by payment header presence.

Requests without a payment header return a summary payload (free tier). Requests with a valid x402 payment of $0.001 USDC — verified by the Coinbase CDP facilitator on Base Sepolia — return the full payload: a structured, curated index of x402 ecosystem projects with name, description, endpoint, and pricing metadata.

This endpoint will be registered in the x402 Bazaar with full inputSchema and outputSchema metadata, making it machine-discoverable via the Coinbase CDP discovery API. Bazaar registration is the primary goal of this demo — it places api.stable402.com/tiered directly in the index queried by AI agents and developer tooling looking for x402-compatible endpoints.
